“But when that day and hour will come, no one knows — not the angels in heaven, not the Son, only the Father. For the Son of Man’s coming will be just as it was in the days of Noach. Back then, before the Flood, people went on eating and drinking, taking wives and becoming wives, right up till the day Noach entered the ark; and they didn’t know what was happening until the Flood came and swept them all away. It will be just like that when the Son of Man comes." Matthew 24: 36-39 CJB
Notice where the focus of the people is: on their daily lives and not paying attention. So what should they be paying attention to? To YHVH and His Word of coming destruction. Isn't that what we are being saved from when we speak of the Messiah saving us? Their focus should have been on the God of Adam (at the time). Grace has always been with us from the moment Adam and Eve sinned and grace is what saves us to this day.
How would the generation of Noach have heard of the Most High Elohim and the coming judgment? By listening to the man YHVH chose to do His will. IS THAT NOT ALL OF US WHO HAVE BEEN SAVED BY YESHUA HAMASHIACH? We have a responsibility to this world and to our Creator to speak of the coming judgment and the grace of our Creator who will forgive their sins and extend His grace to them for the rest of their eternal lives. We need to teach them His ways and show the HOW to repent by teaching them His Torah. We need to leave our places of study every week with the mission of reaching those who have no knowledge of what is coming. When we have warned them and they either gather close to their new brothers and sisters, or they make the most fatal decision of their Eternity, we will have done HIS will. We must continue to carry out the Great Commission and gather the lost and make disciples! If we forget this calling and continue to hide in our places of study on Shabbat, we will be no different than the Pharisees who hid within the walls of the Temple and judged the people of the world from the shadows.
Get out there and warn the people of this world of the coming wrath and show them YHVH's grace with the power of your testimony of Yeshua.
“For me this is like Noach’s flood. Just as I swore that no flood like Noach’s would ever again cover the earth, so now I swear that never again will I be angry with you or rebuke you. For the mountains may leave and the hills be removed, but my grace will never leave you, and my covenant of peace will not be removed,”
says YHVH, who has compassion on you." Isaiah 54: 9-10 CJB
