I said in the first video of my demonology series on YouTube that I would not become the "Demonology Guy" or "the Exorcism Guy." Well, those were my words and not YHVH's. I knew that when I did that first video about Demonology, He would use me in this manner. And He has started to use me. As I look back over my life, I see guidepost moments that have guided me to this point. For me to resist this job any longer is tantamount to disobedience and sin.
I have finally accepted my role as an exorcist.
My time in Satanism is both a curse and a blessing. While YHVH did not allow me to sin, He took my decisions and used them for His purpose. Many of us have gifts and talents in the Kingdom and for the longest time, I buried my talent because I knew that YHVH would use me this way and I didn't want it.
Well it's time to break out the shovel and get to work.
For the last few weeks, I have been working with families that have been under siege from demonic spirits and each case has gotten progressively more complex and more difficult. Hauntings, Oppressions, and Possessions have all crossed my path in the last month. I have been involved with three incidents in person, many more through emails and phone calls, and I am getting ready to hit the road this weekend to handle another one. From everything I have read and experienced, this is an unheard of pace for an exorcist to work. Many go years without seeing a true case and I have seen three in the last month. And this activity will only increase.
While many of us don't want to think about this subject and are unsure of its validity as an actual thing that can happen to believers, I assure you it can happen to you. We have inherited a lie from our religious past that says a believer cannot be demonically oppressed or even possessed. A believer in rebellion is the most dangerous thing on the planet because rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft according to 1 Samuel 15:23.
Have you ever considered why these two phrases are paired next to each other in the Lord's Prayer?
"And do not lead us into hard testing, but keep us safe from the Evil One." Matthew 6:13 CJB
To be an exorcist is to be tested daily and not every believer is prepared for that. Encountering a demon is the ultimate test of not just your faith, but your will and power as well. A demon tells nothing but lies, but its presence will tell more truth about yourself and your standing with the Father than any other presence on the earth. Many of us today who have grown comfortable in our faith and in our walk are now being tested.
“Shim‘on, Shim‘on, listen! The Adversary demanded to have you people for himself, to sift you like wheat! But I prayed for you, Shim‘on, that your trust might not fail. And you, once you have turned back in repentance, strengthen your brothers!” Luke 22: 31-32.
A weakness is exploited, rebellion is created, sin is manifested, and repentance is needed. The battle does not begin or end by engaging the demon itself. It begins by discovering the sin that led to the exploitation of the person’s will. 90% of what I do is counseling and 10% is actual combat. By the time I get involved in a case, the problem is very apparent and the family or individual is completely exhausted and dulled to the problem and their will is completely drained. Many times, an external presence is necessary to bring balance and order to a chaotic situation.
