When the shofar is blown in the city, don’t the people tremble? Can disaster befall a city without YHVH’s having done it? Amos 3:6 CJB
Let me see, one of the biggest supporters of Israel's enemies just had a giant rock fall out of the sky in spectacular fashion and just so happened to do it where a person captured a perfect video of the event for the world to see?
Let's call it what it is, folks. Judgment. How much more will our President put us in the path of YHVH's wrath by seeking the division of the Land?
"So you will know them by their fruit."
Matthew 7:20 CJB
The inevitable fact that Scripture demonstrates is that YHVH will judge this world and the sinful people in it. The watered-down version of the Almighty that has been handed to us for the last 100 years is going to pass away and the YHVH of the Exodus is going to reappear at the request of His people.
But then his people remembered
the days of old, the days of Moshe:
“Where is he who brought them up from the sea
with the shepherds of his flock?
Where is he who put his Holy Spirit
right there among them,
12 who caused his glorious arm to go
at Moshe’s right hand?
He divided the water ahead of them,
to make himself an eternal name;
he led them through the deep
like a sure-footed horse through the desert;
14 like cattle going down into a valley
the Spirit of YHVH had them rest.
This is how you led your people,
to make yourself a glorious name.”
Isaiah 63: 11-14 CJB
In the time coming, the people who shunned the "Old Testament" God and serve the "Teddy Bear" God who does nothing bad or good for anyone, will beg to have the powerful and mighty YHVH that led His people through the sea. When we say that YHVH does not/will not judge the nations or that a disaster is not the work of His hands, we render Him ineffective in our own minds. A God who cannot do what He says that He would do, is one who cannot save us from out sins either. We must heed the warnings of the Bible and realize that just as YHVH saved us through His son, Yeshua, He will also pour out His wrath on those who come against His beloved.
We are given a warning in the book of Zephaniah about what YHVH will do to those who say that He is ineffective or uninvolved with His people:
When that time comes, I will search
Yerushalayim with lamps
and punish those who are smug and thick,
like wine left too long on its dregs,
who say to themselves, "YHVH will do nothing --
neither good nor bad.’
Zephaniah 1: 12 CJB
Our message to the world needs to be one of love, mercy and compassion, but also one of warning. The religious organizations of our time have ignored the warnings of judgment and instead resorted to ear-tickling message of Peace where there is no Peace. Scripture warns us that these people are among us.
When people are saying, “Everything is so peaceful and secure,” then destruction will suddenly come upon them, the way labor pains come upon a pregnant woman, and there is no way they will escape.
1 Thessalonians 5:3 CJB
We each have a circle of influence containing those whom YHVH has put next to us. By placing them next to us, He has charged us with warning these people about the coming judgment.
I end with this passage written to Ezekiel, but is also for those of us who know the Day of YHVH is close:
If I say to a wicked person, ‘You will certainly die’; and you fail to warn him, to speak and warn the wicked person to leave his wicked way and save his life; then that wicked person will die guilty; and I will hold you responsible for his death. 19 On the other hand, if you warn the wicked person, and he doesn’t turn from his wickedness or his wicked way, then he will still die guilty; but you will have saved your own life.
Ezekiel 3: 18-19 CJB
Go forth and spread the Gospel of Yeshua Hamaschiach and warn those of the coming judgment as we are commanded by our Master to do.
